Freihofer's Community Walk
The Freihofer's Community Walk is an annual fundraising event in Albany, NY, following the prestigious Freihofer's Run for Women.
Through the Freihofer's Community Walk, Parsons Child and Family Center and Northeast Parent & Child Society raise funds for parenting education, abuse/neglect prevention and treatment, residential, foster care, special education, and other critical services.
Staff members, clients, friends, family members...anyone is welcome to walk with Northern Rivers Family Services as part of our team.*
In the 2011 Freihofer's Community Walk, Parsons entered the largest team, with 96 walkers.
In 2012, Parsons and Northeast made a splash by combining to represent Northern Rivers Family Services.
*While their is no minimum value needed to participate, walkers are encouraged to seek donations. 100% of donations collected by our team stay at Parsons and Northeast to support our programs and services.
